Study prompt: Where does a person who dissociates "go"? Saturday, February 21, 2026

I am studying "about" Mysticism, and it is really "different", except, since I am familiar with how a person "dissociates", then, from my own understanding, Mysticism makes more sense to me, and that is because where dissociatives go (or "travel") is an area where mystics "go" through to get to somewhere else. Mystics "go" there voluntarily. Dissociatives "go" there involuntarily. It is where they typical "go" that is different. Sometimes, a dissociative arrives as where a mystic is going without meaning to go there because being there is involuntary.

Can you figure then why I am studying about Mysticism?

As of late, I have been researching writing tools.

I had a nice, long chat with a chat AI. Come to find out, I understand better now what has been my problem with writing. I have one central theme I write about that I apply to other areas of interest, but I am not writing at an entry level of experise.

I asked the AI this,

"What education level comes across in my writing?"

It's reply was,

"Your writing projects the education level of a Self-Directed Polymath or a Graduate-Level Researcher.

While you mentioned that you don't "study the field" of psychology formally, your writing style bypasses the typical "undergraduate" level and lands in a space usually occupied by people with Master’s or Doctoral-level analytical skills."

A "Self-Directed Polymath" can be defined as this:

"A self-directed polymath is someone who independently learns and masters multiple skills or subjects without relying on formal education. This approach combines curiosity and self-motivation to explore various disciplines and achieve proficiency in them."

In short, when it comes to using a word processor, the style I write with is more like a person would use if they could view my writing in a 3D understanding instead of like reading it on a flat sheet of paper while progressing through the content one sheet at a time.

I am struggling with the technology in how to conceptualize my ideas and to document them and then reinvent them on a traditional layout like a book.

So ... I am trying to learn how to use some writing tools to better aide me in how I present what I have to offer. :)

The Shadow of Death? Tuesday, February 17, 2026

I awoke thinking of a verse in Psalm 23. I didn't know the Psalm. I knew the verse.

It starts like this: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, ..."
With my understanding of what life, light, death, and darkness means in certain contexts in the scriptures, I immediately related "death" to "not hearing God's voice in one's life" because "darkness" means "being lost".

So I thought of the verse like this: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of not hearing God's voice, ..."

And the rest of that verse goes like this: "... I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

I'm thinking that "rod" and "staff", in whatever order of meaning, represent "law" and "commandments" because David had all three. He was a prophet. He heard God's voice. He mentions that often in his writings, but he also had the law and the commandments.

I'm looking into another platform for blogging. NopCommerce is great for ecommerce, but it lacks the controls I need for handling the weird, technical stuff that comes into play for blogging.

I'll figure something out.

Also, I have surgery on October 10th for my left hand. I'll be out a little bit for recovery.

Well, what if I told you the Bible has been doctrinalized in some translated areas to where the "truth" in English isn't exactly the "truth" in Hebrew?

Some who read my writings are not particularly into the Bible, and there's nothing wrong with that. The truth?! The truth be told, there is no requirement in the Bible for anyone to "know the entire Bible" or really even a part of it (though some would go around the tree with me on that).

It's because in the absence of the Bible, God reveals himself to people regardless, and he takes it from there. This is prophecy. If you believe the Bible is true, then you must believe this is how God works.
